Investing in Regeneration.VC creates a bridge from the Netherlands to the US

Invest-NL is proud to announce an investment in Regeneration.VC Fund II, an ambitious venture capital fund that invests in circular and innovative climate technologies aimed at consumer industries. With a commitment of € 5 million, Invest-NL is boosting companies that reduce greenhouse gases and promote a circular economy.

Boosting sustainable innovations for consumers

Fund manager Regeneration.VC and Invest-NL recognize the importance of innovation within the value chain of consumer industries, responsible for two-thirds of global greenhouse gas emissions. Regeneration.VC distinguishes itself with its focus on 'Consumer Climate Tech', investing in the underlying hardware and software required for the consumer supply chain to become more sustainable.

US originated fund sees the Netherlands as a European launch pad

Regeneration.VC Fund II is committed to the Dutch market and will both invest in Dutch companies and use the Netherlands as one of the hubs for investments from its second fund targeting €150 million. The fund aims to create a bridge between the Netherlands and the US giving Dutch companies access to American multinationals, capital markets, and local market expertise. By collaborating with the Netherlands-based Circle Economy Foundation, Regeneration.VC leverages sectoral knowledge and local deal flow.

With this investment Invest-NL aims to accelerate the circular transition within consumer industries and support Dutch startups in their growth and international expansion. Moreover, this investment offers Invest-NL the opportunity to join a network of leading advisors and investors, and to collaborate on circular and regenerative innovations.
