The Supervisory Board is pleased to announce that Jan Pieter Postma and Jellie Banga have been appointed as members of the Board of Directors of Invest-NL. Both appointments are for a period of four years. With Rinke Zonneveld as CEO, Invest-NL now has a three-member Board of Directors.
Jan Nooitgedagt about the appointment: "From the Supervisory Board, we are delighted with the addition of both Jan Pieter and Jellie to the Board of Directors. Since its inception, Invest-NL has experienced significant growth and is now strengthened at all levels. Together with Rinke, the management, and especially all the highly motivated colleagues, we can create even more impact in the coming years."
Jan Pieter Postma will assume the role of CFRO (Chief Financial & Risk Officer) starting from June 1, 2023. Jan Pieter has been the Director of Finance & Risk at Invest-NL since its inception, and in that role, he is also responsible for compliance, legal, and ICT/facility management. He also served as interim CEO from April 1 to September 1, 2022. Jan Pieter commented on his appointment: "I am proud of the organization we have built since the start of Invest-NL and proud of the entrepreneurs we help accelerate major societal transitions. However, we have only just begun, and I look forward to continuing our work wholeheartedly with my colleagues as CFRO."
Jellie Banga will start as a general member of the Board of Directors on September 1 at Invest-NL and will be responsible for new business development and organizational development. Jellie is currently the CEO at Impact Institute. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jellie has an impressive track record in sustainable finance. From 2013 to 2021, she was a member of the Board of Directors of Triodos Bank, where she was responsible for the commercial and operational development of the bank in six European countries. Prior to that, she worked for twelve years at ING. "I am honored to be appointed as a board member at Invest-NL. I strongly believe that entrepreneurship and the innovative power of companies play a crucial role in achieving a sustainable, circular economy that works for people and nature. I look forward to utilizing my experience and passion alongside all the colleagues and partners I will soon get to know," said Jellie.
With these two appointments, the board of Invest-NL is strengthened for the next phase of growth. This also fulfills the requirement set by the Dutch government that a state participation must have a board consisting of multiple members.
