Rinke Zonneveld appointed Invest-NL's new CEO

The Supervisory Board is pleased to have appointed Rinke Zonneveld (1971) as Invest-NL's new CEO. The appointment is for a period of four years, starting on 1 September 2022. Zonneveld will succeed Jan Pieter Postma who, as Interim CEO after the departure of Wouter Bos, has temporary final responsibility for impact investors and will focus primarily on his position as Finance & Risk Director from 1 September onwards.

Rinke Zonneveld is currently Managing Director of InnovationQuarter, which is the regional development agency for the Dutch province of South Holland. Rinke Zonneveld's career

Over the past nine years, Rinke Zonneveld has developed the organisation InnovationQuarter into one of the most active investors in the Netherlands. InnovationQuarter is also responsible for attracting foreign companies to the region, setting up large-scale innovation programmes and projects and organising joint ventures between entrepreneurs, knowledge and education institutions and authorities in South Holland.

Before he joined InnovationQuarter, Zonneveld held various management positions in the field of innovation, entrepreneurship and industrial policy at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. Rinke Zonneveld currently fulfils a variety of managerial and supervisory roles in the financial sector and at the intersection of private/public collaboration.
