Invest-NL invests in quantum technology with Qblox

With an investment of € 10.75 million in Qblox, Invest-NL today announced its first investment in quantum technology. This investment is part of a € 23.7 million Series A funding round led by Quantonation. The funding enables Qblox, a leading provider of scalable and modular quantum control stacks, to accelerate the development of their solution, thereby advancing the Dutch quantum industry to the next phase.

The investment in Qblox marks the first quantum technology-focused investment from the Invest-NL Deep Tech Fund (DTF). This fund targets startups and scale-ups with innovative complex technologies that offer solutions to societal challenges. The QuTech spin-off Qblox fits this profile perfectly with their modular and scalable solutions for the quantum industry, a sector with potentially enormous impact on both science and industry.
